NYCDSC BASKETBALL

Summary:

Men’s Basketball

• 5v5 full court
• All teams will consist of 6 to 12 players
• Teams will play for two 18-minute periods
• The 7^thor 8^th week is Playoffs; Prizes for winning teaS
• This is friendly competition.

Co-ed Basketball

• 5v5 full court
• All teams will consist of 6 to 12 players
• Teams will play for two 18-minute periods
• Prizes for winning team.
• This is casually recreational.

3 Ways to Join

Full Team

• One coach or captain will create a team and register with the Team Coach or Small Group option
• The captain or coach will have the option to either pay for the entire team or have each player pay individually.
• The coach will be waived from the registration fee.
• When the Team Coach or Small Group invites players, players will register as Team players and join the right team.

If a team signs up and does not reach the full number of players, we will place other small team(s) and/or a free agent(s) and merge them to become a full team.

Small Group

• One person will create a developing team and register with the Small Group option
• That person will put the expected number of players that are planning to join in their group.
• Once the team name has been created, the invited players will join the right team as a Team Player.

When registration closes, we will merge the small group(s) and free agent(s) altogether to create a full team.

Free Agent

• Just register as a free agent and you will be placed into a small group and/or other free agents to become a full team after the registration closes

If you don’t have or don’t know who to join. No problem, you are going to have a warm welcome.
